Peter F. Windrem received his B.A. degree in 1965 from Raymond College at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He attended law school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he received his law LL.B. in 1968. During his law school, Mr. Windrem served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of International Law. Following law school, Mr. Windrem served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala before returning to his home town to open his private law practice.
Over the years, Mr. Windrem has conducted numerous jury and court trials in State and Federal Courts in Northern California. He specializes in the law of real property in matters ranging from leases and real estate purchase contracts to disputes over easements, boundaries, land use and fraudulent transactions.
Mr. Windrem has been a vineyard owner for over thirty years and for many years was part owner of a winery. He recently completed eight years of service on the Lake County Winegrape Commission. He has represented growers and wineries in numerous matters relating to the wine industry.
Mr. Windrem has served on many community boards and commissions. He and his wife have two grown children.
