Oasis Spring Ecological Reserve Updated:06/2019

The 485-acre Oasis Spring Ecological Reserve is located along the Salton Sea below the historical high water mark. Plant communities in the area include a Fan Palm Oasis, with vegetation that is an important structural component of fish habitat, the Sonoran Desert Scrub Community, and Desert Fan Palm Oasis Woodland. Observed species include the great blue heron, belted kingfisher, lizards, and snakes.
