Mission Community Market Updated:05/2023

The Mission Community Market is a year-round, non-profit community marketplace that takes place every Thursday, rain or shine, 4pm – 8pm on Bartlett Street between 22nd and 21st Streets in the Mission District of San Francisco.

The market runs year-round with a six-week break for the winter. This season, the market runs January 17, 2013 – December 19, 2013.

The Mission Community Market is so much more than just a farmers’ market.  We are an open-air marketplace made up of farmers, small local businesses, and after-school programs. We promote family health and are creating a fun, beautiful public space for the Mission District.

We believe the greatest challenges facing the Mission today are the twin goals of economic security and family health. Through the power of food, the Mission Community Market presents a solution for both.

Market revenues are reinvested into bilingual health education and the “Mercado Match” program, murals, and the community design process for the Mercado Plaza.

MCM is a non-profit market that relies greatly on community support, including sponsorships and donations. If you appreciate the continued presence and positive impact of the Mission Community Market, please consider making a monetary or in-kind donation which will help the market improve and grow for years to come.
