French Creek Fire Safe Council Updated:01/2022

Located in the South end of the Scott River Watershed, French Creek serves as a unique example of a delicate ecosystem accommodating a diverse number of land uses.

The upper area of the French Creek watershed is in the congressionally designated Russian Wilderness, a premier recreation destination. Land in the lower portion of the watershed is managed primarily for timber production.

In addition to numerous private residences, the J H Guest Ranch is located in the heart of the watershed and is an outdoor school, covering 360 acres, with a full service lodge, living quarters, and training areas.
